Health & Safety
Pro-Dive Marine Services is committed to the provision of a safe working environment for its employees, subcontractors, and others affected by its operations.
Safety is a line management responsibility, and supervisory staff at all levels are expected to conduct operations in a manner that ensures the health, safety, and welfare of employees in their care at all times.
Environment
Pro-Dive Marine Services recognizes that care for the individual must also extend to the environment. We are committed to conducting operations in a way that minimizes ecological impact.
Materials used will present the least risk to personnel health and environmental integrity, while still meeting the needs of the work being performed.
Safety Management Systems
This safety-oriented philosophy has led Pro-Dive to register its Safety Management Systems with:
- Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association (NLCSA)
- ISNetworld
- ADCI
These affiliations reflect our commitment to maintaining high safety standards across all operations.
Quality Management System
Pro-Dive Marine Services was formed with the primary goal of providing the highest quality ROV, diving, and subsea services. With the growth of the East Coast oil and gas sector, Pro-Dive recognized the need to be internationally certified in its quality practices.
Our Quality Management System is compliant with the ISO 9002 quality standard and has been successfully audited to the ISO 9001:2008 international standard since 1997. We conduct our operations in accordance with this established system, reinforcing our commitment to quality and to being Atlantic Canada’s premier subsea services provider.
Industry Guidelines
- Pro-Dive Marine Services operations follow International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) guidelines in both the diving and ROV categories and has been previously audited to IMCA for membership.
- CSA Standards Z275.2 Occupational Safety Code for Diving Operations, CSA Z275.4 Competency Standard for Diving, Hyperbaric Chamber, and Remotely Operated Vehicle Operations, CSA Z180.1 Compressed Breathing Air and Systems and CSA Z275.1 Hyperbaric Operations and Work in Compressor Air Environments
